Only those who express the qualities of childlikeness can find and enter the kingdom of God. Christ Jesus said: "Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein."

The kingdom of God is the awareness of your divinely created Self. This kingdom is gained only as a little child with all his trust, freedom, spontaneity and enthusiasm. In fact, such awareness is not only the means of entering the kingdom, but such qualities are the kingdom itself. Think back to your childhood with its trust, freedom, spontaneity and enthusiasm and you will see that such qualities are synonymous with childhood.

The poet Wordsworth wrote: "Heaven lies about us in our infancy." Cultivate the childlike qualities, and if you do, you will have found your divine Self which is the kingdom of God.
