About me:
L.B. Callid Keefe-Perry has a BA degree from the University of Rochester (NY) entitled "Commercial Culture," an interdisciplinary program that combined ethnographic anthropology, motivational psychology, and business school courses. He spent the following year studying studied Western Philosophy and researched the development of Buddhism from its roots in India through changes in China, Korea, and Japan. He also has an MA in teaching Earlham College. Callid has been passionately involved in dancing contact improvisation, reimagining storytelling, and photography. Callid is webmaster for theopoetics.net, an electronic resource for postmodern thought, poetry, theology, narrative, and (re)imagining the Divine. He and his wife, Kristina, travel in the ministry within the Religious Society of Friends and they have co-led a course called “The Jewels of Quakerism” at Pendle Hill. Callid is interested in the practices of Early Friends and issues of discipline and transformation within Monthly Meetings. He is a member of Rochester (NY) Friends Meeting.
